Marketing Manager - Financial Services
Job description
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement innovative, high-impact marketing programs:
Drive client engagement through fresh and inspiring initiatives.
Execute campaigns across multiple countries, market segments, and channels for maximum effectiveness.
Leverage data insights to optimize programs in real time.
Collaborate with global and regional teams-including Communications, Events, and client-facing functions-to activate bank programs across all channels.
Manage approvals, ensure compliance, and report on marketing activities within a highly regulated environment.
Serve as the lead for website updates related to regulatory and business content.
Coordinate and utilize regional marketing resources and agency partners (internal and external).
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the region at all levels.
Align with global marketing teams to maximize synergies across campaigns and activities.
Market within a robust risk management framework, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
Minimum 8 years of integrated marketing experience with a proven track record in a leading multinational financial institution or securities firm.
Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university.
Strong executive presence and excellent English communication skills for a regional role.
Deep expertise in B2B marketing (including positioning, messaging, branding, advertising, digital, and events), combined with analytical and technical proficiency in global banking.
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage budgets while coordinating efforts with business stakeholders, events, and communications teams, with knowledge of key Asia-Pacific markets.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, clear communication, and the ability to influence.
Ability to work independently within a complex, matrixed organization, building consensus and adhering to global standards.
Critical Competencies
Proven experience delivering marketing programs with a strong digital focus, including ongoing tracking and performance monitoring.
Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end marketing processes and ability to take ownership of tasks.
Skilled in creating content-driven marketing (e.g., business insights) across various formats, including video and online.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Proficient in MS Office tools.
Desired Skills
Experience working across multiple geographies with an understanding of regulatory and cultural differences in APAC financial markets.
Flexibility to participate in occasional or regular evening calls to align with U.S. time zones.
