Manager, Network (around 60K)

My client is a well renowned sports & entertainment organization. Due with their team expansion, they are actively looking for a Technical Manager with main focus in network security.

The ideal candidates should be coming from a strong network operation background, with exposures in cybersecurity tooling and data center relocation projects.

Network & Security Manager, 60K

Role

• Work with Security and Network Architect to drive network security initiatives to evaluate, acquire and deploy new IS technologies and capabilities, and ensure initiatives get completed on time and budget.
• Facilitate technical advisory and recommendation in design, development and system integration
• Supporting design and implementation of network security control and system. Building, implementing, and maintaining all network security solutions and technologies.
• Perform and ensure network security controls in place with the agreed design, integration and implementation.
• Support the security administration such as firewalls, load-balancers, NAC, WAF and others and arrange skill transfer through solution providers and manage SOC and SecOps team for smooth handover on security entitled monitoring work streams.

Requirement

• 5 to 8 years' experience working in technical IT roles, with at least 3 years technical experience and solid skillset in SD-Wan, MPLS VPN, Security and Networking /infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in secure network infrastructure, Anti-DDoS, Security Vulnerabilities Scanner, IDS/IPS, WAF, Secure MTA, Load Balancer, Internet Proxy, as well as DNS hosting..
• Exposures in SD-Wan, Security and Networking Solutions such network routing and switching, firewall and etc.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments - scanning the environment, generating reports and engaging with system owners and stakeholders to make certain that any observed vulnerabilities or security concerns are addressed/remediated.
• Strong experience in TCP/IP Networking and Routing, and LAN / WAN architecture.
• Holder of CCIE/HCIE/CISP/CISSP/CCSP will be advantageous
• Good knowledge of network security on vendor solutions such as Akamai Prolexic, Netscope CASB, Zscaler ZIP & ZPA, F5, Imperva, Checkpoint, Fortigate and/or equivalent.
• Hands-on experiences to Network Access Control, Web Isolation and/or MSS handling.
• Able to support network devices integrated with SIEM e.g. Splunk and ELK.
• Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Internetwork Operating System (IOS).
• Understanding of Cloud security framework and related controls would be an advantage.
• Similar network security skillset in cloud security components would be considerate in priority e.g. Azure, AWS and /or Google with SI.
• Good skillset of networks and systems protocols e.g. TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, FTP, etc.) as well as IT Security vulnerability and compliance scan approaches.
