Logistics Coordinator (Consumer Appliance | 17 - 20k)

Job description

My client is a top tier consumer appliance MNC. Looking to enhance their logistics tema, they are now in search of a Logistics Coordinator.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage 3PL and relative logistics vendors on shipments arrangement to ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipment management
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase order, inventory and shipments using our Warehouse Management System, including tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Communicate with carriers, customers, and vendors to resolve any issues related to shipments, including scheduling changes, delivery delays, and quality issues
  • Work with our team of logistics professionals to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs, including identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Assist with other logistics-related projects and tasks as needed, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service

To qualify, one must possess:

  • Degree holder with at least 1 year of logistics or supply chain experience
  • Candidate working in both in house or 3PL / forwarder will be consider
  • Strong proficiency with Excel including functions such as Vlookup and Pivot Table
  • Logical mindset, detail minded and good communication skills
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
