L2 IT Support Engineer - Financial Services - Hong Kong

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • You will provide second-line daily technical support and handle requests from end users based in Hong Kong office
  • You will resolve cases received from tickets, emails and walk-ins.
  • You will escalate unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales.
  • You will liaise with clients, other IT support groups and 3rd party providers when necessary.
  • You will handle desktops, laptops and mobile phones.
  • You will maintain system documentation, hardware & software inventory.
  • You will conduct hardware and software maintenance and support.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve PC incidents and/or VIP requests.
  • You will assist local Server Team when server maintenance is required.
Requirement:
  • Proven work experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience working with senior management including C-levels
  • Proficiency in repairing and troubleshooting PC-related hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Knows how to support and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 requests/problems.
  • Strong communication skills to handle calls from colleagues and customers, providing technical assistance over the phone or email.
  • Experience in performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Familiarity with documenting the implementation of Helpdesk requests/issues through the company's ticketing system.
  • Excellent English communication skills, good in documentation and in customer service
