Java Developer - Financial Services - Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

• You will develop new features or maintain existing features of the product
• You will troubleshoot system issues and analyze errors for root causes and propose solutions
• You will design and implement efficient and scalable microservices using Java and Spring frameworks.
• You will apply design patterns and best practices to ensure robust and maintainable code.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• You will provide technical support and troubleshooting for production systems.
• You will write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality
• You will produce comprehensive technical documentation for applications and systems

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and JVM ecosystem
• Experience with Spring Boot, BFF pattern and microservice architecture;
• Expertise in database design and SQL
• Experience implementing secure coding practice and understanding of common security vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices
• Familiar with cloud native technologies including Docker/Azure/Kubernetes;
• Familiar with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks
• Fluent in Cantonese and proficient in English
