IT Service Desk Support - Banking - Afternoon Shift 4pm-12am

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support critical trading applications within a distributed multi-server environment, covering the Asian and US markets
  • Tier 1 & 2 Support and may work directly with traders
  • Coordinate MR, UAT and handle system changes and SIT
  • Work closely with Dealing, Operations, Infrastructure and Development teams
  • Develop scripts and other tools to support our trading systems operations as required
  • Involve odd hours support and testing
  • Investigates, manages and resolves production incidents and problems and managed external relationships with vendors and consultants.
  • Document incidents and updating procedures

Job Requirement

  • University Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in the finance industry and capital markets
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes, Linux/Unix, Windows Server and IIS
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting Trading Systems, include but not limited to Ayers, ABC FO/BO, Bloomberg, SharpPoint, Viewtrade, InteractiveBrokers, TTL, ULLINK, etc.
  • Solid project management and analytical skills with OMD-C, OMD-D and SDNET of HKEX
  • Good technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills under pressure
  • Proactive, highly motivated, team spirit, forward thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required
