IT Project Manager (Pension/ eMPF), Insurance, 70k
Job description
Our client is a leading insurance company. This role is responsible for managing post-implementation activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the eMPF platform. The IT Manager will act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to resolve issues, implement minor enhancements, and maintain system stability and compliance. This is a renewable contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable IT solutions.
- Lead and manage IT enhancement projects from initiation through implementation.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs.
- Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 5-8 years in IT project or enhancement management.
- Proven experience working with business users to deliver system improvements.
- Familiarity with pension systems or MPF-related platforms is an advantage.
- Technical understanding of cloud-based solutions preferred.
- Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
