International Sales Director - Airline & Travel

Our client is one of the global brand licensing companies with business worldwide. It has 100+ premium brands partnership globally with Hong Kong as a regional hub; they are currently looking for an International Sales Director to build strong relationships with existing and new airline customers and brand partners.

Based in Hong Kong, you'll lead all business development activities across Asia Pacific & Middle East, Africa markets. As an International Sales Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a small team with full profit responsibility; Deliver sales and profitability targets according to business plan
  • Build and implement customized sales & business development strategies for the client
  • Leverage strong client relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Collaborate across the internal department to deliver world-class service offerings to customers effectively, gain credibility within the airline industry
  • Collaborate with the brand, design and innovation teams to create winning product and service offerings, enhance customer and passenger satisfaction
  • Partner with Marketing and Communication teams to implement regional brand communication strategies
  • Enhance the existing business model through brand collaborations, creating customized experiences and sustainability concepts

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree and have 12 or more years of Regional Business Development and Sales Management experience within the airline/ inflight service/ travel industry
  • Experience in managing Asia/ Regional/ Global business with a proven track record in building effective strong client relationships
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills and ability to manage teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and project management skills
  • Outstanding high-level stakeholder management skills with a strong business acumen
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English
