Insurance - Business Analyst(1-year contract)

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Automate and smoothen broker processes using platform capabilities, APIs, and complementary tools.
  • Act as liaison between business teams and IT/vendors during delivery.
  • Support solution design, process mapping, and digital journey enhancements.
  • Conduct UAT, validate system changes, and support rollout and training.
  • Monitor performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills

  • 3-7 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in insurance or broker/agency systems.
  • Strong understanding of broker workflows and insurance processes.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and Agile delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Experience with broker portals or intermediary platforms.
  • Knowledge of underwriting or policy administration systems.
  • Familiarity with APIs
  • Good communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
