Infrastructure Project Manager - Financial Services - Hong Kong
Job description
Responsibilities:
- You will develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
- You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, engineering teams, and third-party vendors, to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- You will identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project deliverables.
- You will manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and adherence to project timelines.
- You will implement quality control measures to guarantee that infrastructure projects meet industry standards and organizational expectations.
- You will monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- You will maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for management review.
- You will manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs through a formal change control process.
- You will ensure project compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager or similar role, managing complex infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, Cloud technology, operating systems, database, data centers, network architecture, and cloud services.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Previous experience working in an enterprise-level environment managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application to infrastructure projects.
