IBD Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading investment banking group, is adding a new Director, Legal Counsel to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to investment banking matters
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and other legal memoranda
• Assist senior attorneys in advising clients on legal issues related to investment banking
• Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel and other parties
• Represent clients in court proceedings and before regulatory bodies as needed

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in the state where the position is located is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in transactional or regulatory law, preferably in the investment banking industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
