Head of Risk Management

Job Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and enforce enterprise risk management policies and processes for the business and its affiliates.
• Preserve and assessing the enterprise risk management structure, tactics, and procedures.
• Oversee the development of risk assessment techniques, protocols, and processes that are appropriate for the different business divisions.
• Provide direction and support to business units as they develop and implement internal control measures.
• Technology, operations, finance and liquidity, legal and compliance, business continuity, third parties, data protection, reputation, and other hazards should all have their risk management and monitoring processes centralized.
• Keep an eye on your cyber resilience posture and compliance with industry norms, laws, and regulations.
• Participate in corporate plans, new initiatives, and projects by offering your opinions on risk and control.
• As required, provide the Board, senior management, and regulatory agencies with reports on all risk management operations and exposures.
• Inform internal and external stakeholders-including the Board, Risk Management Committee, auditors, and regulators-about risk-related matters.

Job Requirements:

• University degree, ideally with a major in business studies, risk management, information technology, or a similar field
• Have professional expertise in computer-system security, such as being certified as a CISP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar title
• At least 15 years of experience in risk management, ideally from large financial institutions, and at least 8 years of managerial experience.
• Knowledgeable about the services and operations of the financial sector, particularly cybersecurity and technology risk management.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and management abilities; familiarity with risk management frameworks, policies, and strategies; and familiarity with pertinent national and international regulatory requirements
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese skills, as well as an advantage in Putonghua
