FMCG Sales Manager (Distribution Management )

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets in the general trade channel.
  • Conduct market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and formulate strategies to expand market share.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the general trade segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor sales performance and track key sales metrics.
  • Ensure effective distribution and availability of products in the general trade channel.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to optimize product availability and delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales management within the FMCG industry, with a focus on the general trade channel
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities with customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
