Finance Manager (PE Fund Accounting)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting and financial reporting for multiple private equity funds.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation of capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
• Collaborate with investment teams to ensure accurate tracking of fund performance and portfolio valuations.
• Review Limited Partnership Agreements and understand their implications on accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support tax compliance and reporting requirements, including K1 and other necessary filings.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for fund operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in private equity or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and private equity accounting practices.
• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
