Event Coordinator | Corporate Access

Job description

Job Duties:

  • Conference Planning & Delivery: Support the end-to-end planning and execution of Macquarie's flagship Asia Conference, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional attendee experience.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to manage timelines, logistics, and deliverables.
  • Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event coordination, including marketing activities, venue setup, and on-site support.
  • Creative Development: Design event concepts and themes aligned with client needs and organizational objectives.
  • Budget Oversight: Prepare cost estimates, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate access within financial services; exposure to MICE, conferences, roadshows, or event management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide seamless logistical and team support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively, with quick responsiveness to ad hoc requests.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and travel between office and event sites
