About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading insurance provider as a Program Manager (Cloud Migration) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be leading the strategic migration of the company's IT infrastructure and applications to the cloud. You will play a crucial part in driving this large-scale transformation program, which is a key priority for the business.
What you'll be doing
  • Develop and execute the cloud migration strategy and roadmap, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of the cloud migration program, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies, implementing effective control measures
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators to track program progress and success
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership on program status and outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of the cloud migration process
  • Ensure the program is compliant with all relevant regulations and internal policies
What we're looking for
  • 7+ years of experience in program/project management, ideally in large-scale cloud migration or digital transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and proven experience managing complex cloud migration initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic programs on time and within budget
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
  • Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred
