Director - Regional Expense Management (Financial Services)

Our client is one of the leading insurance Groups in Asia with a strong presence across the region. They are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join their Expense Management functiona as Director.

Reporting to the Head of the Function and working with a very lean team, you will be accountable for Regional Office and a couple legal entities' expense and cost management which requires for you to work with different local and regional business leads to gather and analyse information for senior management financial reporting. You will assist in identifying costing trends and patterns, and suggest recommendations for savings. This role requires a commercially-minded candidate with both analytical and logical mind who's comfortable dealing with different senior stakeholders at regional level.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Bachelors Degree or above with internationally recognised CPA qualification
  • 10-15 years' relevant working experience in expense management or FP&A in a sizeable financial services firm, ideally within insurance or re-insurance
  • APAC regional experience is a must
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese required, Mandarin and other Asian languages a plus
  • Must already be based in Hong Kong
