Digital Business Analyst

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis

    • Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct workshops, interviews, and document reviews to capture and prioritize business needs.
  • Documentation & Process Modeling

    • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
    • Maintain process flows, data models, and system interaction diagrams for digital platforms.
  • Solution Design & Validation

    • Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Perform gap analysis and validate solutions against business objectives.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance

    • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test cases and validating results.
  • Stakeholder Management

    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including underwriters, claims, actuaries, and IT.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to ensure alignment between business and technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation or insurance projects.
  • Strong understanding of policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent English communication skills-able to deliver structured presentations and clear documentation.
  • Consultancy experience or client-facing background is highly desirable.
