Data Solutions Manager - Governance, Operational Strategy

About The Role:

We are partnering with a prestigious and reputable bank to find a strategic and technically proficient Data Solutions Manager. This is a high-impact role designed for an expert who can bridge the gap between advanced technology and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for shaping the bank's data strategy, driving the end-to-end delivery of AI and data initiatives, and embedding robust data governance frameworks.

• Champion best practices in AI and data project lifecycles, providing constructive feedback to improve relevant policies and governance frameworks.
• Ensure all AI and data solutions strictly comply with the bank's data governance policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks inherent in day-to-day operations.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable, ethical, and commercially viable AI/data solutions.
• Lead the ideation and development of business cases for AI use cases, ensuring strong ROI and clear

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive data & analytics experience, including 3+ years managing AI/ML or complex data solution delivery in Financial Services/Fintech.
• Strong knowledge of industry-leading data management practices, data governance, and model risk management.
• Thorough understanding of banking business and operating models, as well as the local regulatory environment.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks (Supervised/Unsupervised Learning, NLP, GenAI).
• Outstanding stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and Chinese.
• Results-oriented, with the ability to deliver under pressure. A strong problem-solver with analytical and critical thinking abilities.
