Data Analyst - Insurance

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory and advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights across customer behavior and business performance.
  • Analyze complex data challenges and provide data‑driven solutions to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop datasets, perform data extraction and transformation using Python, SQL, and other analytical tools.
  • Build dashboards and visualization reports to communicate findings clearly, preferably using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical approaches and ensure insights are actionable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Industry experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience managing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Ability to interpret business needs, design analytical methods, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Experience working with customer data, digital touchpoints, or performance analytics.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods, modeling concepts, or BI/reporting best practices.
