Customer Service Specialist (Chemical Manufacturer | 23 - 25k)

Job description

My client is a multinational chemical manufacturer. Looking to enhance their customer order management, they are now in search of a Customer Service Specialist.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, your responsibilities will include:

  • Process and manage customer orders from receipt to delivery
  • Communicate order status and delivery information to sales, logistics, planning and other internal stake holders
  • Coordinate transportation and delivery of products to customers with internal logistics team
  • Collaborate with sales and internal stake holders to resolve customer inquiries and issues
  • Monitor accuracy of order submission and act as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance with rules and requirements
  • Optimize operation processes and provide guidance to peers in APAC to support change of business flow

To qualify, one must possess:

  • Degree holder with at least 3 years of order management, customer services or coordination experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Experience working within the manufacturer industry is a MUST (open to chemical, industrial, metal, electronics, garment or other large scale manufacturer)
  • Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Table, Vlookup; proficiency in SAP or other ERP system will be a plus
  • Good communication skills, independent problem solver, and keen to learn
  • Good command in both spoken and written Chinese and English
