Business Analyst - Insurance

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement discovery sessions.
  • Map and improve existing business processes and workflows.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.

Project Delivery

  • Support project planning, backlog grooming, and sprint activities (Agile or hybrid project methods).
  • Assist in defining test scenarios, preparing UAT plans, and coordinating testing activities.
  • Track issues, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution
  • Support preparation of training materials, user guides, and communication plans.
  • Assist with rollout activities and provide post‑implementation support.
  • Help identify opportunities for further enhancements.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 2-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience working on digital, system, or process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage requirements effectively.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies.

Preferred (Optional)

  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma, or similar.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks or BA certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
  • Experience with data analysis or digital customer journey design.
