Business Analyst - Core Banking Migration

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Core Banking Migration Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive knowledge of loan products, and hands-on experience in the preparation of interface and report specifications. You will play a critical role in the migration of our core banking systems, ensuring that all interface requirements are consolidated and documented accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate Interface Requirements: Gather and align interface requirements for loan products, defining field attributes, field mapping, and data flow to ensure seamless integration.
  • Prepare Project Documentation: Create detailed functional and technical documentation, including specifications, workflows, and project progress reports that communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, while monitoring compliance with timelines and contractual obligations.
  • Quality Assurance: Review deliverables for accuracy, conduct rigorous testing, and ensure that systems meet defined functional and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in core banking migration projects, specifically within the loans domain.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of interface/report specifications preparation.
  • Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
