Business Analyst - Core Banking - Data and reporting

Job description

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the successful migration of our core banking system. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing reporting solutions, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process. Your insights will directly impact our ability to deliver top-notch banking services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to data migration and reporting.
  • Analyze existing data structures and reporting mechanisms to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed specifications for data mapping, transformation, and reporting processes.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate data migration and integration into the new core banking system.
  • Design and implement reporting solutions that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new reporting tools and methodologies.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of core banking systems and data migration processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and reporting software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
