Billings Officer

Job description

Key Duties

  • Execute regular billing cycles accurately and on time.
  • Review and reconcile billing data to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate necessary documentation to support billing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and tax requirements.
  • Coordinate with finance teams on special billing or tax matters.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in billing records.
  • Monitor and address system-related errors impacting billing processes.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in billing, invoicing, or financial operations (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in billing tools and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Clear communication skills for collaboration across teams.
