Associate, iBank, (java + middle ware), 55K - 60K

Job description

A leading investment bank i s now looking for a Associate (JAVA) to join their international team. You will be participating in their integration projects across all departments.

Job duties

  • Analysis, design and development of new integration projects in a Unix and Windows environment
  • Producing detailed functional and design specifications
  • Conducting systems testing and supporting user acceptance testing
  • Liaising with users from all areas and with other ITD teams including IT Governance, IT Support and IT Infrastructure
  • Adhering to Mizuho Securities Asia's development standards and procedures, including change control
  • Dealing with day-to-day production problems and maintenance when required

Job Requirements

  • Minmum 5 years hands on JAVA development experience
  • Degree Holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Good knowledge of software implementation best practices and design thinking processes
  • Experience in open source Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Struts2, Drools, Hibernate
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels stakeholders
  • Knowledge in K8S and Docker is an advantage
  • Fluent English is a must
