Assistant Manager, Financial Accounting - Insurance (up to 50k)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany bookings and settlements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Support daily payment operations and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline journal entry and reporting processes, with a focus on automation and data accuracy.
  • Prepare and review regular expense reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual), ensuring alignment with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., HKFRS/IFRS).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
