Assistant Finance Manager - luxury retail

Job description

Our client is a leading luxury retail group with international presence over the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance

    • Compile and deliver monthly financial reporting packages
  • Operational Finance Management

    • Manage daily financial activities including:
      • Tax calculations and filings
      • Balance sheet review and maintenance
      • Preparation of lease accounting entries under IFRS 16
      • Posting and reconciliation of general ledger transactions
  • Audit & Tax Support

    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during statutory audits and tax reporting cycles
    • Prepare annual financial statements and ensure compliance with local and international standards
  • Process Optimization

    • Lead and participate in process enhancement initiatives, aligning financial operations with evolving business needs and regulatory changes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance related discipline
  • CPA qualification is required
  • Minimum 4 years of audit experience and 3 years in inhouse finance
  • Retail / FMCG background is highly preferred
  • Good command in both written and spoken English & Chinese
  • Detail-oriented, responsible and good interpersonal skill
  • Self-motivated, flexible and diligent
