Assistant Accounting Manager (Welcome Qualified Big 4)

Our client is a UK professional services firm with global presence. To cope with their expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Assistant Accounting Manager to join their Regional Finance team in Hong Kong:

Report to the Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Review of the monthly variances reports submitted by local finance managers and prepare monthly variance report for Asia;
• Preparation of the month-end journal entries, review of trial balance, month-end balance sheet reconciliations and other month-end reports;
• Assist in annual budget preparation and liaise with head of departments on their review of the forecast and budget;
• Prepare monthly budget holder reports and provide commentaries on variances
• Assist in local statutory audits and deal with external auditor
• Assist in corporate's tax filing for Hong Kong office;
• Ensure that there are effective and efficient financial processes and internal control in place ;
• Support Regional Financial Controller on ad-hoc financial reporting

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines and with CPA qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in the Finance & Accounting department within the professional services provider, Big 4 audit experience is a definite advantage
• Attention to details with a strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and excellent communication skills
• Good language skills in both spoken and written English and Putonghua
