We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Compliance and Risk Technology Application Support/Business Analyst to provide comprehensive support to our APAC users in the field of compliance and risk technology. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and efficient functioning of various compliance and risk technology applications used by our investment bank in the APAC region. You will collaborate closely with end-users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver exceptional support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the overall user experience.


  1. Provide Level 2 support for compliance and risk technology applications used by APAC users, ensuring timely response and resolution of user queries and technical issues.

  2. Act as a primary point of contact for APAC users, demonstrating strong communication skills to gather requirements, provide guidance, and offer training on compliance and risk technology applications.

  3. Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to understand user requirements, system enhancements, and regulatory changes, and translate them into actionable plans.

  4. Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for web and desktop applications, investigating and identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions or workarounds.

  5. Conduct thorough analysis and impact assessments of system changes, upgrades, or patches, ensuring minimal disruption to users and adherence to compliance and risk requirements.

  6. Participate in the testing and validation of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet user expectations and compliance standards.

  7. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, coordinating with stakeholders to define test scenarios, execute test cases, and document results.

  8. Maintain accurate documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles, to facilitate efficient support and training for APAC users.

  9. Monitor system performance, proactively identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and propose recommendations for optimization and improvement.

  10. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to compliance and risk technology applications, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and relevant stakeholders.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Application Support Analyst in the financial services industry, preferably within an investment bank or similar environment.

  3. Strong understanding of compliance and risk technology applications used in the financial sector, such as AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, market abuse surveillance, and risk management systems.

  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with users, IT teams, and vendors across different levels of the organization.

  5. Proficient in troubleshooting and providing Level 2 support for web and desktop applications, with a solid understanding of incident management processes..

  6. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying patterns, root causes, and proposing effective solutions.

  7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  8. Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to optimize processes, enhance user experience, and drive efficiency.

  9. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese communications.
