Application Manager (Budget Control)

Job description

They are actively hiring an Application Manager to lead their software engineering team. Ideally he is coming from any in-house background with project experiences in vendor management.
This key position will be based in Kowloon side and will look after several massive system revamp.

Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of 4 people - Assistant Manager, 3 X software engineers
  • Oversee full project life cycle, including collect user's requirements, analyze business processes, solution design, implementation, UAT and related reporting
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with other technical teams to plan and prioritize change projects
  • Prepare work-plan, organize tasks for the team and be responsible for quality control of the system
  • Provide technical support for ongoing operations and service enhancements
  • Prepare system documentation and end-user training
  • Establish effective governance of Hong Kong T&I priorities and budgets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key Hong Kong business decision makers
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • With 7 years of experience on application development
  • Good understanding in API design, architecture, systems and database design
  • Experience in system development lifecycle and implementation using .Net Core, JavaScript, and familiar with MSSQL
