APAC Human Resources Director

About the company

Our client is a globally luxury retail company, they are currently looking for a Human Resources Director to manage the HR team and planning the HR strategies.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
* Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR operations.
* Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address current and future HR needs, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational development.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in HR management.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive work culture and promoting employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention.
* Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent, including recruitment, selection, and employer branding.
* Design and implement effective performance management systems and processes to drive employee performance and development.
* Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable practices and supporting employee well-being.
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
* Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Oversee HR metrics and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to improve HR effectiveness and drive data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in HR is preferred.
* Proven 10 years experience as an HR leader or HR director, preferably in a similar industry or organization size.
* In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
* Results-oriented with a track record of driving HR programs and initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
* Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
