Accountant - Urgent Hiring (Law firm)

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for the firm.

  • Record and reconcile debit and credit transactions in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Prepare and support audit processes, including compiling documentation and liaising with auditors.

  • Draft and review audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial records align with operational needs.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support firm management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, specifically within a legal firm.

  • Strong knowledge of debit/credit accounting principles.

  • Proven experience in audit preparation and audit reporting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
