Accountant/ Assistant Accountant

• Perform sales reconciliation for retail and e-commerce transactions
• Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
• Collaborate with Sales and Retail teams to confirm promotions, discounts, and returns
• Validate and process vendor invoices accurately
• Prepare and execute scheduled payment runs
• Handle vendor queries and resolve payment-related issues
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger with the general ledger and ensure vendor account accuracy
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including accruals and journal reclassifications
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AP/AR, ideally within cosmetics, beauty, or luxury retail
• Proficient in ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
