Accountant (Payroll + Reporting focus, up to 55k)

Our client is an international law firm with over offices across the globe, they are currently looking for an Accountant to join their Hong Kong finance team.

Report to the Accounting manager, you will be responsible for:

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely and confidential manner, relating to expatriate/partners
• Confirm MPF calculation and ensure compliance to firms' policy
• Review pay slips and other payroll reports prepared by outsourced vendor
• Review tax returns, prepare relevant supporting documents and liaise with tax representative
• Assist in monthly financial reporting and analysis as required
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining client account balance worksheet
• Handle ad hoc duties as required

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance
• At least 3 years payroll experiences
• CPA qualification is a must
• Excellent communication with good language skills
• Self-motivated, problem solving skills and able to work independently
• Speaks fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
