Technical Project Manager, Insurance, 60-80k

Your New Role:

  • Spearhead end-to-end planning and execution of data migration projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Serve as the central liaison for stakeholders, fostering alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate existing data ecosystems to uncover migration requirements and potential roadblocks.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams-including data engineers, analysts, and IT professionals-to drive project success.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Uphold data quality and consistency through rigorous testing and validation protocols.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress updates, meeting records, and post-project reviews.
  • Review project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and inform future migration strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 8 years of hands-on project management experience, with a strong emphasis on data migration and enterprise data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of ETL workflows, data migration tools, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex data-related challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or PMI-ACP are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills in Chinese and English -both written and verbal-with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
