System Engineer (Data Storge and Backup)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute projects related to storage and data backup infrastructure.
• Coordinate the technical evaluation process for storage and backup projects.
• Create documentation for storage and backup infrastructure, including baseline standards, operational procedures, and capacity planning reports.
• Provide daily support for the institution's storage systems and backup services.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing SAN storage systems and enterprise data backup infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in backup solutions such as Veritas NetBackup and virtual tape libraries like EMC Data Domain/HPE StoreOnce.
• Extensive experience with storage systems such as HPE 3PAR, EMC VNX, Dell VMAX, and NetApp NAS.
• Proficient in managing Brocade SAN Fabrics Switches.
• Solid knowledge of various infrastructure components, including Windows, VMWare, Unix, and Network.
• Familiarity with cloud-based storage technologies like Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure Cloud Storage.
• Capable of working independently.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese languages.
