Regional Salesforce Programmer/ Release Analyst
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce Programmer and Release Management and Support Analyst to oversee the end-to-end release cycle for our Salesforce platform and provide ongoing application support. This role ensures the smooth deployment of new features, enhancements, and fixes, and serves as a key point of contact for Salesforce-related support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Salesforce release cycles, including sandbox refreshes, deployments, and post-release validations.
- Develop and maintain release schedules, deployment plans, and change logs.
- Collaborate with developers, admins, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful and timely releases.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., using Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar tools).
- Ensure all changes are compliant with company policies and Salesforce best practices.
- Serve as the first line of support for Salesforce users, troubleshooting issues and escalating as needed.
- Monitor and respond to support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and high user satisfaction.
- Analyze and document recurring issues and recommend improvements.
- Assist with user access management, data integrity, and regular system audits.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, features, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, support, or release management.
- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Change Sets, Gearset, Copado, SFDX, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and security model.
- Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM practices a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM201) required; additional certifications a plus (e.g., Platform App Builder, Advanced Admin).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Components.
- Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
