Service Designer, Insurance, 60 - 70k

Job description

We are seeking a Service Designer to join our reputable insurance client. The successful candidate will be involved in service design, CX insights, client/advisor research, and design activities across the digital product development cycle

Job duties

  • Lead journey mapping and service design activities, bringing service design inputs towards design concepts and expressing them for client/user experience design, supporting other UX and UI Designers in the eventual delivery
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify customer needs and pain points
  • Develop service design strategies, including service blueprints, user journeys, and storyboarding
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service design solutions are implemented effectively
  • Create and facilitate workshops to generate new service ideas and refine existing services
  • Develop prototypes and conduct user testing to validate service design solutions
  • Continuously evaluate service design solutions using customer feedback and analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that service design solutions are implemented effectively

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in service design, experience in the insurance sector is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and tools
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in service design and client experience practices
  • User-focused, human-centered with a passionate desire to improve user/ digital experience, brand engagement, client loyalty, and business success
  • Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin with excellent communication skills in English
