Senior QA Analyst, 30-35k, renewable contract

As the senior system tester in the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of enterprise-level systems. You'll work closely with team leads, business analysts, and end users to understand and refine User Requirements (URS), with a strong focus on backend processes, system integrations, and infrastructure-level validations.

Your New Role:

• You'll Collaborate with system analysts and IT teams to conduct detailed walkthroughs of Functional Requirements (FRS), focusing on system architecture and data flow.
• Review, and maintain comprehensive test scopes, scenarios, and test cases tailored to system-level testing, including batch processes, APIs, and data interfaces.
• Prepare and manage test data for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring coverage of end-to-end system workflows.
• Execute test cases in UAT environments, validating system performance, data integrity, and backend logic.
• Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with end users, particularly for complex system functionalities and cross-platform interactions.
• Analyze test results to identify system-level defects, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues.
• Document and track defects, providing clear and actionable feedback to development and infrastructure teams.
• Conduct post-implementation health checks to verify system stability, data consistency, and operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system testing or QA.
• Solid understanding of system testing methodologies, including integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems, data flows, and backend validation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using test management tools and documentation platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
• Fluent in spoken Cantonese is a must.
