Merchandiser (Fashion Retail; 25k; Renewable Contract)

My client is a leading US retail fashion brand. Looking to enhance their merchandising team, they have a new headcount for a Merchandiser. The role is renewable contract role subject to performance and business needs.

• Reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Support the Senior Manager and merchandising team on the product development process and seasonal buy
• Collaborate closely with US product designers, HK technical team and suppliers to a smooth production process
• Support team in price negotiation and quotation with clear record and review of cost sheets
• Monitor the suppliers' production timeline and capacity regularly
• Communicate with both logistics team and customer to ensure smooth logistics coordination

To qualify, one must possess:

• Degree holder with at least 2 year of merchandising experience within the fashion retail industry
• Experience working with designers, product development team and suppliers
• Experience supporting team to set up new SOP would be an advantage
• Renewable contract subject to individual performance
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English
