Manager/Assistant Manager - Regulatory reporting

Our client is a stable and growing financial service company. They are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Manager/Assistant Manager for their regulatory reporting function.
Responsibilities:

• Manage a team and responsible for month end closing and coordinate with finance, actuarial and other teams for input
• Review month end journals and financial reports on timely and accurate manner and in accordance with internal control framework, HKFRS & local regulatory requirement
• Review and consolidate the audited financial statements, audit schedules and requests to auditors
• Responsible for the quarterly and annual statutory filings to regulators
• Conduct various financial analysis & reconciliation, assist in addressing issues/ queries raised by management, regulators, internal stakeholders, internal/ external auditors

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting
• University degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance/ professionally qualified accountant is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience within Regulatory Compliance
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Able to work independently whilst providing positive collaboration within a fast-paced, team environment
• Immediately available is highly preferred
