Java System Analyst

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of project initiatives with strategic transformation goals.
Identify opportunities for system improvements and lead the design and implementation of solutions to support business change.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and propose appropriate IT solutions, including core systems, mobile applications, data platforms, and third-party integrations.
Participate in the review and negotiation of vendor contracts and statements of work (SOW).
Evaluate and review solution designs (e.g., API specifications) proposed by vendors and facilitate architectural reviews and approvals.
Oversee system cutovers, production deployments, and ensure smooth transitions during project rollouts.
Deliver user training and support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
Provide ongoing technical advisory and troubleshooting support post-implementation.
Leverage system data to generate insights that support informed decision-making throughout the transformation journey.

Qualifications

Strong technical background in enterprise system implementation and maintenance.
7+ years of experience in the financial services, insurance, or related industries.
Proven experience in system analysis, development, and implementation of IT solutions.
Foundational understanding of business operations, particularly in areas such as customer onboarding, policy administration, or back-office processes.
Technical Skills:
