IT Operation Manager/ Service Manager

Job description

Job Description: As a Service Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving our service management processes. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the efficient delivery of IT services, leveraging your expertise in ServiceNow, ITIL, and IT Service Management (ITSM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize service management processes using ServiceNow.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL v3 or v4 best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to team members on ITSM tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Service Management, with a strong focus on ServiceNow.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4 frameworks.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL certification (v3 or v4).
  • Experience in a similar role within [industry/sector].
  • Proficiency in other ITSM tools and technologies.
