Digital Product Manager - Chinese Bank
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Oversee the full product lifecycle of the bank's mobile application, including the planning and execution of core feature enhancements such as account services, smart advisory tools, and cross-border payment capabilities.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Develop and implement user behavior analytics frameworks (e.g., in-app interaction tracking, NPS surveys). Utilize SQL and Python to analyze transactional data and design A/B testing models aimed at improving user conversion and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams including R&D (Agile development), QA, and Compliance (KYC/AML), as well as external partners, to ensure timely and compliant delivery of product initiatives and promote API integration in financial use cases.
- User Growth & Monetization: Formulate and execute user acquisition and engagement strategies (e.g., reward systems, referral programs). Integrate financial products such as credit card installment plans and wealth management offerings to optimize revenue while maintaining service quality.
- AI & Innovation Leadership: Lead the development of AI-driven functionalities including intelligent customer support and automated fraud detection. Monitor emerging trends in generative AI and propose practical applications within the banking domain.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in mobile product management within the banking or fintech sector, with demonstrable success in projects such as payment systems or wealth management modules.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Axure, Sketch, Figma) and foundational data analysis skills using SQL and Python.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements set by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) for e-banking services.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- In-depth knowledge of fintech developments, including Open Banking and tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).
- Prior experience in leading data analytics initiatives and familiarity with the operational models of Hong Kong banking apps is advantageous.
- Exposure to AI/ML projects, particularly in deploying machine learning models or recommendation systems, will be considered a plus.
