Data Project Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery:
    Manage end-to-end delivery of data platform integration projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to align project goals and expectations.
  • Data Integration Oversight:
    Coordinate the implementation of data lake and integration solutions to support CRM and client data strategies.
  • Business Enablement:
    Work closely with marketing, CRM, and analytics teams to enable data-driven decision-making and customer engagement.
  • Team Coordination:
    Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, and data functions to ensure smooth execution.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    Identify project risks and issues early, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in data-related initiatives.
    • Hands-on experience with data lake and data integration projects.
    • Exposure to CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) and marketing activation tools.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project planning, execution, and reporting skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Understanding:
    • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), ETL processes, and data governance principles.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
    • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
