Job description

A leading bank is seeking a high-caliber individual to take on the role of Digital Channels Governance Lead. This position entails establishing robust program governance for a range of data and digital channels within Securities Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the execution of initiatives in line with established project governance, methodologies, and change management practices.
  • Develop governance frameworks to support the creation of data and digital tools, leading discussions to mitigate risks and ensure clarity.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders on various programs, maintaining a focus on the overall health of initiatives and making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product teams, and Client Management to promote alignment and synergy among teams and business units.
  • Work with teams to instill new cultural practices and methodologies across the organization, engaging both leadership and team members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience within the banking or financial industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and executing large-scale programs, with a solid background in program governance.
  • Strong knowledge of data and digital capabilities to effectively engage with teams and key stakeholders in this domain.
  • Proficiency in creating project artifacts that enhance project management and monitoring.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization, inspire and negotiate with senior leaders, and present to diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in gathering, analyzing, prioritizing, and validating requirements while fostering strong partnerships with business stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on enhancing capabilities, agility, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Good command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
