Event Planning Executive (1 year contract) - Banking Industry

Job Description:
Working within the Corporate Affairs team, the individual will work with different stakeholders, including different business groups, NGOs, and vendors. The role will focus on assisting corporate social responsibility activities, planning for events, creating drafts for press and other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with external stakeholders such as NGOs on CSR initiatives; promote programs internally and externally
  • Arrange logistical support for community events, PR programs and internal staff events (both physical and virtual)
  • Liaise with external vendors on event management
  • Prepare internal and media materials such as internal memos and press releases
  • Manage and handle administrative work such as event reporting, budgeting, billing and accrual
  • Maintain and update content on intranet and external websites
  • Perform daily media monitoring and prepare news coverage reports
  • Perform any other duties as assigned


  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • 1-2 years of working experience in the PR and Event Management Agency
  • University degree holder in any disciplines, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or other related disciplines
  • Excellent in MS office, Photo Editing
  • Knowledge of video production and editing, and content publishing is a plus
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Able to work under tight timeline
