Consultant (Manufacturing / Production / Management | 45-65k)

Job description

My client is a long historied printing manufacturer. Looking to enhance their production function, they are now in search of a part time Consultant for a 4-6 months contract.

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a part time consultant to General Manager (2 days per week) over a 4-6 months contract period
  • Provide advice on production sector including but not limited to production equipment / machinery replacement, quality upgrade and other process improvement projects
  • Explore new suppliers / vendors options on new raw materials to improve production quality
  • Support management team on supplier management / negotiation to ensure quality services
  • Advise on talent / human resources management for both production and management staffs
  • Support management team on driving other new initiatives including but not limited to ESG / sustainability projects

To qualify, one must possess

  • Degree holder with at least 20 years of management experience within the manufacturing industry (not limited to printing / publication)
  • Proven track record on driving new initiatives or improvement projects across manufacturing business
  • Knowledge in manufacturing (with company owned plants / production site) is a MUST
  • Good communication and stake holder management skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Good command in both written and spoken English is a MUST
