Business Analyst - Securities Trading 50-90k

Our client, a leading brokerage firm with a strong international presence, is expanding its Hong Kong technology team and looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join their strategic platform buildout initiative.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the technology team, you'll collaborate across front-to-back office functions to define and deliver cutting-edge solutions for trading and post-trade operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Leading feasibility assessments and contributing to long-term platform planning.
• Coordinating with stakeholders across business units, development, support, and risk teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Supporting governance processes and ensuring compliance with regional regulatory standards.
• Managing project priorities, preparing documentation, and participating in UAT activities including test planning and issue resolution.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:

• A degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an international brokerage setting, with exposure to front-office trading or post-trade operations.
• Solid knowledge of trade flows and products in China, Hong Kong, and/or Singapore markets-equities, derivatives, structured products, bonds, FX.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HK SFC, SG MAS, and financial market infrastructures.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin.
• A collaborative mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Bonus points for project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
